Ras Al Khaimah’s hotel scene continues to flourish, with yet another prestigious name set to join its growing portfolio of luxury destinations. Wynn Resorts and Marjan have announced their second joint venture on Al Marjan Island — Janu Al Marjan Island. Developed in partnership with the celebrated Aman Resorts, the ultra-luxurious project is set to debut in late 2028, marking another milestone in the area’s evolution into a world-class tourism and lifestyle destination.
Located directly across from Wynn Al Marjan Island and designed by Singapore-based SCDA Architects, Janu Al Marjan Island has been envisioned as a vibrant waterfront haven where refinement, lifestyle and community will intertwine. The resort will feature 132 elegantly designed rooms overlooking the Arabian Gulf, each embodying the luxurious simplicity and contemporary warmth that is the calling card of the Aman brand. Guests will also enjoy a slew of other world-class amenities:
• Private beach
• Exclusive beach club
• Serene pool
• State-of-the-art wellness centre with a yoga studio, banya and hammam
• Two signature restaurants
• Nightlife venue
• Children’s club
Moorings in front of the resort will also allow guests to reach Wynn Al Marjan Island, creating a comprehensive ecosystem of luxury in the area.
Additionally, resting adjacent to the complex will be a curated collection of Janu-branded residences ranging from 1 to 5-bedroom units, as well as standalone villas. These bespoke homes will provide residents with an opportunity to embrace the Janu lifestyle throughout the year.
Commenting on the announcement, Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, expressed delight at welcoming Janu as a neighbour and observed, “Beyond the standalone merits of the investment, we expect Janu’s guests and residential owners will be an additional source of high-quality visitation to Wynn Al Marjan Island.” Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, added that Janu’s “philosophy of soulful luxury aligns perfectly with our vision for Al Marjan Island.”
With Janu Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah continues to affirm its status as a rapidly growing hub of international luxury.
