UAE’s Almal Real Estate Expands into Commercial Market, Eyes Luxury Centres in Bali, Thailand

UAE-based real estate developer Almal is poised to announce a major expansion into new sectors and international markets as part of its strategic growth plans for 2030. The company will soon enter the commercial sector with the launch of The Smart Space, a network of premium business centres in the UAE featuring five-star amenities.

In addition to its commercial ventures, Almal is venturing into the Bali and Thailand markets, where it will focus on developing luxury villa and townhouse communities. As a community developer, the company aims to create high-end residential projects in these sought-after destinations.

The move into commercial real estate will be marked by the launch of The Smart Space, a network of smart, flexible business centres designed to meet the growing demand for upscale office spaces in the UAE. The centres will offer off-plan commercial units and align with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, supporting sustainable growth in the region’s commercial districts.

Almal’s international expansion will also include luxury villa and townhouse projects in Bali and Thailand, reinforcing its global ambitions as a community-focused developer.

At the same time, Almal continues to make significant strides with its flagship UAE developments. The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel and Residence in Ras Al Khaimah, managed by Palladium Hotel Group under The Unexpected Hotels brand, promises to redefine luxury hospitality with over 420 hotel rooms and fully managed residential units, slated for completion in Q1 2027. The company’s other notable project, Harrisoni Villas in La Mer South, Dubai, is already on the market, with units starting at AED 100 million ($27.2 million).
